On Sunday August 4th the Regional Academy are offering a FREE COME & TRY DAY for all of their Term 3 programs at Frankston Basketball Stadium (90 Bardia Ave).

In Term 1 and 2 the Regional Academy ran these sessions with over 150 children attending on each of the days, these sessions were a great way for parents and kids to come down and get a feel for which of the programs will best suit them before registering for the term.

Times for the 3rd instalment of the day are listed below:

Introductory Programs (Beginners)
3:00 PM Mini Hoops (3 to 5 year olds)
3:30 PM Aussie Hoops (5 to 10 year olds)

Development Programs (Currently Playing or have done Introductory Programs)
4:00 PM Slam Dunk Domestic Academy (U8 to U14 domestic players)
4:30 PM Rep Prep (10 years and older, aspiring to play representative basketball)

Frankston Basketball Programs Coordinator, Jarryd Moss was looking forward to running another Come and Try day for the Regional Academy.

“The FREE COME & TRY DAY allows parents and children the opportunity to come down to Frankston Stadium and give any of our Term 3 programs a go”

“If parents are unsure of which program will best suit their child then the FREE COME & TRY DAY gives them the chance to come down and give all age appropriate programs a go”.

“In Term 1 and 2 we were blown away by the interest and it was a fantastic showcase of our programs and what the Regional Academy has to offer”.

The Regional Academy will be introducing all new games and drills to each of the Term 3 programs as well as some new and exciting coaches.
